Airbnb is looking for an Email Marketing Coordinator to join the family. You would facilitate the distribution of amazing assets such as our poignant videos, wonderful content and fantastic host engagement events around the world. The ideal candidate for this position will be quantitative, fun, motivated, detail-oriented, and excited about marketing within the travel space.

Responsibilities

  • Help build, optimize, and track email marketing campaigns for Airbnb globally
  • Collaborate with the local offices and various departments on a wide-range of projects
  • Support day-to-day tasks critical to the email marketing strategies for our traveler acquisition, host acquisition, re-engagement, retention, segmentation and merchandising (cross-sell, up-sell) campaigns
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to develop, build, and test content for emails. Keep others informed and up-to-date; able to organize/prioritize

Requirements

The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in email marketing. Previous experience managing and creating email campaigns is preferred. Also required:

  • Must be fluent in English. Bonus if fluent in any European langauge. Working knowledge of ESPs, Responsys preferred
  • Highly proficient in HTML (experience coding for email preferred), Excel and SQL
  • Generate new ideas and copy for testing copy and subject lines
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
